Introducing EFT Video Sunday to the Mid-Hudson Valley!

The New York Center for Emotionally Focused Therapy offers a host of educational and training opportunities for those interested in the practice of EFT. Video Sunday programs occur monthly through the New York and CT areas and give the professional community a chance to watch training tapes together with a supervisor moderating the discussion. These programs can benefit any clinician whether you are curious about EFT, just started training, or have been working with the model for some time.

Emotionally Focused Therapy in Action

Steffani Brandenburg, LCSW, Facilitator and Moderator

When:   Sunday, March 23, 2-4 PM

Where:  Cantines Island Cohousing Commonhouse Living Room Saugerties, NY
Cost:     $15 online/$20 at the door

We will be viewing a portion of: Emotionally Focused Therapy in Action. In this DVD Training Video, Dr. Sue Johnson conducts an actual session with a challenging couple haunted by the "echoes of war". We get to watch her work with the couple in a brilliant demonstration of the subtlety and efficacy of EFT. In a single session, she helps them conceptualize their conflicts in attachment terms, gain an understanding of their negative cycle and begin to reveal some of the vulnerable feelings that underlie their explosive anger.

Steffani Brandenburg, LCSW, is a certified EFT Supervisor & Therapist.  She has over 25 years of experience working with Individuals and Couples and a private practice in Mt. Kisco, New York and Ridgefield, Connecticut.
