Pre-requisite: Completion of ICEEFT-approved Externship


This training is completely experiential. As a part of a small group, you will have an opportunity to work individually with a trainer next to you on a particular stuck place, as well as to roleplay partners in a couple to experience EFT from the inside out. Each group will be exposed to 4 different trainers throughout the two days. Safety and support from the trainers and group members allow each person to grow in a multitude of ways.

Trainers


George Faller, LMFT is a marriage and family therapist and certified EFT trainer, supervisor and therapist.  He is the director and founder of NYCEFT.  George is also a retired Lieutenant in the NYC Fire Department and has extensive training in working with traumatized couples providing post-deployment retreats for military couples. He trains and supervises clinicians in EFT in the U.S and abroad. His private practice is in Greenwich, CT.

Lisa Palmer-Olsen, Psy.D. is a licensed marriage and family therapist in San Diego California.  She is a Certified EFT Trainer and Supervisor and is a Founder and Director of the Emotionally Focused Couples Training and Research Institute at Alliant International University.  Dr. Palmer-Olsen is the original developer of EFT Dig In training and the leader of bringing it to EFT international community. She is an AAMFT clinical member and approved AAMFT supervisor.

Debi Scimeca-Diaz, LMFT
is a certified EFT Therapist, Supervisor and Trainer.  She has a full-time private practice in NJ where she specializes in couples therapy and provides on-going local and long distance EFT supervision and training. Debi is the director of the New Jersey Community for EFT.  She spent 9 years as a Clinical Director of a community mental health outpatient Clinic where she provided supervision, training and mentoring to new therapists in the field. Debi is dedicated and passionate about providing quality training to other professionals.


David Fairweather, Ph.D. 
 is a certified EFT Therapist, Supervisor and Trainer.  He is in full-time private practice in Nanaimo, B.C., and is co-founder and co-director of the Vancouver Island Centre for EFT.  From 1996 until 2006, he worked as a psychologist and supervising psychologist within the federal correctional system.  Trained by Dr. Sue Johnson in the early 90s, during his more than 20 years in his private practice as well as other therapeutic settings, he has specialized in providing EFT to couples, as well as focusing on training and mentoring other mental health professionals.  Known for his empathic style and therapeutic use of laughter and humour, David helps couples move away from the rigid negative patterns that keep them stuck, and toward a place of more authentic emotional contact, thus opening up the space for partners to find new possibilities and awareness, and to create satisfying and fulfilling ways-of-being together.


Leanne Campbell, Ph.D.
 is a certified EFT Therapist, Supervisor and Trainer.  She is co-founder and co-director of the Vancouver Island Centre for EFT.  From 1994-2004, she worked as a Professor of Psychology at Vancouver Island University. Trained by Dr. Sue Johnson in the early 90s, in her more than 20 years of practicing EFT, Leanne has been well-regarded for her ability to quickly develop strong therapeutic alliances with clients, and to use that secure base to explore, discover, and share their deeper emotional experiences in ways that shift them from distressing cycles of interaction to new levels of closeness and understanding. In addition to offering training and clinical supervision in EFT to mental health professionals, she has extensive experience teaching students and clinicians who are learning a broad range of clinical skills and developmental considerations fundamental to EFT.

CANCELLATIONS   
If notified in writing of canceling by Sept 10, fee is refunded minus $50 administrative fee.  Registrations canceled after Sept 10 are not refundable.

Continuing Education Credits
12 CEU’s will be available upon completion of the Core Skills Training. This service will be provided by Alliant International University for an additional fee of $35.
