NYCEFT Quarterly Seminar

Bringing out the "dragon" of trauma to the dance floor in EFT couples treatment.

One of the tasks and goals of EFT is helping each partner get in touch with their vulnerable emotions.  When partners have past trauma, it is particularly difficult.  In this seminar, Judith Kellner will demonstrate how to stay with  the fear of touching sadness or the shame of "losing control" and feeling emotions fully.  George Faller, LMFT will be the discussant.

Presenter

Judith Kellner, LCSW is a certified EFT therapist and approved supervisor candidate in full-time private practice in NYC, specializing in cross-cultural and interfaith relationships as well as transmission of trauma and relationship trauma.   Judith has presented internationally on couples issues relating to cross culture, transmission of trauma and EFT.   Her experience in cultural transition spans Israel, Europe, Asia and North America.

Discussant

George Faller, LMFT
is a marriage and family therapist and certified EFT trainer, supervisor and therapist. He is also a Lieutenant in the NYC Fire Department and has extensive training in working with traumatized couples providing post-deployment retreats for military couples. He trains and supervises clinicians in EFT in the U.S and abroad. His private practice is in NY and CT.
