Right From The Very Beginning: Using enactments for assessment and treatment in Stage 1 of EFT

When: Friday, March 18, 3:30-5:30 PM

Where: Birch Family Services
104 West 29th Street (at Sixth Ave.)
2nd Floor Training Room

In this quarterly seminar, Benjamin Seaman will show video excerpts from the beginning sessions of treatment to show how enactments function both as bonding moments and as vehicles for assessing future work in increasing emotional literacy, healing trauma and understanding internal working models. By learning how to bypass content/ story to explore the unique ways partners manage emotion with each other, we can get to the heart of a couple's journey from even the very first session.
